Nothing in life is ever as it seems.

Summer is here, and after a turbulent first semester, Blake is excited to spend a long summer in Vale with the Shifters, exploring the rugged landscape and her fledgling relationship with Grayson.

But when an unfortunate incident proves her power to be stronger than originally thought, questions will be asked, and decisions made which threaten the already fragile power structure of the whole supernatural world.

To keep the peace, Blake must learn how to navigate the vicious world of supernatural politics and take her place as a mediator on the Supernatural Council.

Will she be able to bring the races together and restore the balance? Or will she be forced to concede that her powers are not as under control as she originally thought?
